Puppy School
One & Two
We focus on sound desensitisation for young dogs
in their critical period of development,
Preparing them for crackers, storms, lightning and loud sounds.
- We specialise in shaping new behaviours with puppies in their critical period-of-development-stage.
- This is the period when puppies learn easily and accept new ideas, texture, items and objects.
- Puppies make new friends, learn demeanor, facial expression and stance with other puppies of their own age.
- We work on sound desensitisation with everyday home items for example mops, brooms, hairdryers and bicycles.
This is the phase of your puppy’s schooling that counts the most.
- We do temperament testing and trainability testing.
- We help with name recognition, marker recognition and whistle recognition.
- We pair the markers with positive reinforcement training.
Making every step easier in the process of obedience training.
- We teach the focus cues.
- The lure-to-the-sit cue, the lure-to-the-down cue and the lure-to-the-stand cue.
- We start with basic recalling your doggo (recalls) and start teaching the sit-stay cue and down-stay cue.
The puppy agility course teaches the puppies acceptance of challenges and assists the handlers with leash handling and motivational skills.
Puppy swimming classes improves the play drive as well as fitness and we focus on safety and obedience around the pool.

With expertly designed programs for all skill levels and needs, our training facilities in Florida Park and Honeydew (Gauteng, South Africa) provide the perfect environment for dogs to learn, grow and thrive.
The jumps, tunnels, weave poles, frames, big wheels and water pools support physical exercise for dogs and handlers. These courses improve mental stimulation and strengthen a dog’s natural instincts. The course presents a chance for the dogs to practise patience, a very important factor for pet dogs.
